DRLPS 10th Anniversary Celebration

You are invited to attend the DeTour Reef Light Preservation Society ten year celebration of “Keeping the Light On for You!” -- a gala affair to be held on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. in DeTour Village, Michigan.

Established in 1998 by concerned citizens wanting to save the offshore historic DeTour Reef Light for all to enjoy, the DRLPS has accomplished many milestones with its team of dedicated volunteers including major restoration of the 1931 lighthouse in 2004. Since 2005, public tours and weekend keeper programs have been offered.

The event will take place at the Eastern Upper Peninsula Fine Arts Council Cultural Center located at 245 Erie St. Detour Village MI 49725, and will include dinner and presentations. Cost is $15 and reservations are required.
