About the Evening Under the Stars

Every year since its founding in 1998, the DeTour Reef Light Preservation Society (DRLPS) has sponsored a benefit dinner to raise funds to help with the preservation of the DeTour Reef Lighthouse. In 2000, the dinner was moved outdoors on the shore of Potagannissing Bay on the north side of Drummond Island adjacent to the Bayside Restaurant and named An Evening under the Stars (aka Stars).

The 2008 Stars benefit dinner will be held on Saturday, July 12, beginning at 6pm. The full program includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, live music, and some unique auction tems. The dress is dressy resort wear (business casual) and we ask that you RSVP by June 29, 2008. The cost is $125 per person.
